In the interests of sensible travel, please invest in a decent map of Lesotho. The AA map, obtainable from most AA Shops at a neglible cost, is highly recommended.

1)	Once done with border formalities, head west on road towards Mokhotlong.
2)	Skip the small sign to Thaba Tseka (barely visible), unless you want the real 4x4 countryside tour.
3)	About 55 km away, watch out for the unmistakable turn-off to the left to Thaba Tseka, in Mojakisane village.
4)	Take the turn-off, travel down valley, cross iron bridge over river, continue up the other side, past St James mission on your left.
5)	Molumong is 8,5 km along this road, measured from the turn-off, on the right, red corrugated roofs on stone walls.
6)	Watch for turn-off to lodge on your right, and drive slowly down the access road to Molumong. Currently in bad condition.

1)	Proceed towards Mokhotlong
2)	Ignore all signs and any other directions till after you cross the Senqu (Orange) River, and ascend a steep hill.
3)	After about 5 km, watch out for the turn off to Sani Pass on the right.
4)	Turn off on this road that will turn to dirt.
5)	Stay on the road past the large Molumong sign.
6)	Travel for about 3 km along this road.
7)	Watch out for the turn-off to Thaba Tseka and the sign to Molumong on your right.
8)	Follow instructions as per step 4 above.

As at April 2009, parts of the road from the Free State are very badly potholed. Please add extra time to your journey.

1)	Leave Thaba Tseka via the road to Mokhotlong/Sani Pass.
2)	Watch out for Menoaneng Pass (3060 m) about 60 km away.
3)	Molumong is about 15 km from the summit.
4)	Take access road to lodge and proceed slowly down to the lodge. Currently in bad condition.
